Smarty’s JR Special Features: A Quick Guide
Smarty’s JR is a device that enhances the performance and drivability of your truck. It comes with the CaTCHER software, which has three different levels of power and torque. You can also adjust the tire height, read and erase diagnostic codes, and enjoy the fastest ECM update in the industry. Here are some of the benefits of using Smarty’s JR:
Improved fuel economy: Smarty’s JR can help you save money on gas by optimizing the fuel injection and combustion process.

Fast and easy installation: Smarty’s JR does not require any tools or fuses to install. You just plug it into the OBD port, select the software level, and wait for a few minutes. You can also update the device via USB with free internet updates.
Reliable and safe: Smarty’s JR works with your OEM hardware and does not damage your engine or transmission. It also has a built-in bootloader that prevents any problems if the update is interrupted.

Smarty’s JR Software Levels
 
The CaTCHER software has three levels of power and torque that you can choose from. Each level has a modified torque management system that improves the throttle response without compromising the safety of your driveline. The power levels are measured on stock trucks on our in-house Dyno Dinamics Twin Retarder Dyno.
SW # 1: 40 hp increase
SW # 2: 70 hp increase
SW # 3: 100 hp increase
ABS / Speedo Recalibration
You can adjust the tire height up to 44 inches in increments of 0.1 inch in just a few seconds. This will correct the speedometer and odometer readings, as well as improve the ABS performance. To access this feature, Smarty’s JR needs to be VIN# locked to your truck.
DTC Code Reader
You can read and erase diagnostic codes with Smarty’s JR. The codes are displayed in plain English, so you don’t need to look them up online or use a separate device. (Smarty does erase ABS codes too but does not display them)
ECM Update Speed
Smarty’s JR can update your ECM in less than 5 minutes, which is three times faster than a Star-Scan diagnostic tool or competitor. If the update is interrupted for any reason, you don’t need to worry. Smarty’s JR has its own bootloader that will resume the update automatically. All you have to do is turn the key off and on again.
